In my Despatch No. 11 of 1860 I applied for the refund of £119. 15. 11d, being the amount of expenses incurred by the Colony, at the rate of 10s diem, for the maintenance of H. M. Conant at Kanagawa, committing Mr. Mons to the Gaol of Hongkong for the term of 3 months, from 7th January 1860.
